Disassembly steps and requirements of the motor
1. Remove the drive pulley (coupling) and loosen the set screw on the drive pulley (coupling). Use a puller to pull out the drive pulley (coupling). If there is no looseness when pulling, lubricating oil needs to be added to the set screw hole; If it still cannot be pulled out, a kerosene lamp or alcohol lamp can be used to heat around the outer circle of the drive pulley (coupling) shaft sleeve before pulling. When heating, pay attention to controlling the temperature to prevent deformation of the shaft sleeve and motor shaft.
2. Dismantle the bearing cover and rotor. Remove the bolts and screws of the front bearing cover, fan cover, and rear end cover, and then use a wooden mallet to knock the shaft extension end towards the rear end cover to make the rear end cover separate from the machine base. Then, use hand or balance hoist to extract the rotor with the rear end cover together.
3. Before dismantling the front end cover winding rotor, first lift or remove the brush, brush holder, and lead wire, and then remove the front end cover.
4. Disassembly, cleaning, and inspection of bearings:
(1) Disassemble and use a suitable puller to tightly grip the inner race of the bearing and pull it out.
(2) Clean (except for fully enclosed bearings), rotate the outer ring of the bearing by hand to rotate it in gasoline, clean any remaining oil stains, and then dry the oil and water with a dry cloth.
(3) Check and observe whether there are rust or spots on the surface of the bearing raceways and ball or roller, then rotate the outer ring of the bearing by hand to observe its flexibility, and then determine whether the bearing can continue to be used. Users cannot replace it.
